NOTTING HILL GATE

LONDON, W11
REFURBISHMENT

An exceptional Grade II Listed town house adjoining the communal Ladbroke Square Gardens, designed by the Victorian architect Thomas Allom in 1852.

The proposals include reinstatement of the original disposition and proportions of spaces at upper levels, structural strengthening, restoration of the building fabric and architectural features. For example the cantilevered stone staircase and ironwork ballustrade will be restored by specialist craftsmen. This is a project with period beauty and 21st century luxury. An extension is planned below the rear garden (left) including guest quarters, a gym and wine cellar. Above it the garden will be landscaped by metropolitan designer Luciano Giubbilei.
